1. FC Köln (promoted to the Bundesliga in 2014-15) achieved a turnover of €68.6m in 2013-14, an increase of 20.6% over 2012-13 (€56.9m) announced the club on 20/10/2014. FC Köln recorded a net profit of €1.2m in 30/06/2014, whereas the club announced a net loss of €2.9m a year earlier.

"For a season in the 2.Bundesliga (German second division), this is an good result. We also expect a positive outcome for the 2014-15 season. During the next three years, we want to further reduce our debt and strengthen our capital," said Alexander Wehrle, CEO of FC Köln, on 20/10/2014. The net debt of the club decreased €1m in 2013-14, reaching €31.4m as of 30/06/2014.

Merchandising: record revenue of €8m in 2013-14
