Qatar 2022: 9.23 million viewers for Germany - Japan on ARD (audience share: 59.7%)

Germany - Japan (1-2), on Matchday 1 in Group E of the 2022 World Cup, drew an average of 9.23 million viewers in Germany on the public TV channel Das Erste (ARD), on Wednesday 23/11/2022 (kick-off at 14:00 CET), according to data from the audience measurement institute AGF.

This figure represented an audience share of 59.7%. The match was also broadcast on the OTT platform Magenta TV (Deutsche Telekom), whose audience has not been communicated.
