ExclusiveWomen's Euro 2025: "We can organise a world-class tournament in 28 months" (E. Le Prévost, FFF)

"The most important strength of the French bid to host the Women's Euro 2025 (16 teams, 31 matches) is the ability of the French sports industry to organise a world-class tournament in 28 months," said Erwan Le Prévost, director of institutional and international affairs and international competitions at the FFF, on 25/11/2022, two months to the day before the UEFA executive committee designates the host country or countries for the competition on 25/01/2023.

Lens, Lyon, Metz, Nantes, Paris, Reims, Rennes and Valenciennes are the eight cities selected for this European competition, as announced by the FFF on 12/10/2022.

The FFF's bid is heavily focused on eco-responsibility and energy efficiency. "Of the 62 team trips planned for the competition, 59 will be made by train or bus. The FFF has also planned a structuring legacy for women's amateur and high-level football," explained the French Football Federation.

UEFA received four bids by the deadline of 12/10/2022:
