Manchester City FC: new edition of the water access awareness campaign

Cityzens Giving, the charitable arm of Manchester City FC (Premier League), and Xylem, an American water management company and partner of the club, have launched the new edition of the "Water Heroes Academy" programme to raise awareness of water access issues, announced the club on 22/11/2022.

Water Heroes Academy is a "a global network of projects to educate and inspire young leaders to tackle water challenges in their communities using the power of football." The five selected projects are located in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Mexico City (Mexico), Cape Coast (Ghana) and Melbourne (Australia).

Manchester City fans are invited to vote for their favourite project. The winners of the vote will be invited to enjoy a unique behind-the-scenes experience, just like the team from Mumbai (India) in August 2022, the winner of the previous edition of the campaign.
