SC Bastia: a €12m modernisation project for the Stade Armand-Cesari between early 2024 & early 2026

The Agglomeration Community of Bastia (CAB, a group of municipalities in the department of Haute-Corse, FRA) has presented a project to modernise the Stade Armand-Cesari (Furiani, Haute-Corse), the stadium it owns and which hosts the home matches of SC Bastia (Ligue 2 BKT), on 26/11/2022.

The cost of the project, with work to be carried out from the first quarter of 2024 to the first quarter of 2026, is estimated at €12m. It is financed by the Collectivité de Corse and the State (under the Investment Transformation Plan for Corsica). The project has been entrusted to the Montpellier firm A+Architecture.

The project includes:
• Covering the east and west stands and extending the cover at the back of the north stand
• A restructuring of the stands in the east stand
• The creation of a 300 m2 museum
• The creation of a brasserie in the north stand
• The modernisation of the VIP, hospitality and press areas
• The development of the stadium's exterior and the creation of a fan zone
• The renovation and modernisation of the changing rooms
