NFL: Twitter launches an interactive map with the fans of the 32 franchises

Twitter presented its "NFL Fan Map," an interactive map locating the majority of fans of the 32 franchises in the NFL (National Football League) in every county in the country, on 22/10/2014. The map also provides the ability to compare two NFL franchises to quickly get an overview of the regional and national fan bases of each of them on Twitter.

Each NFL team is represented by their team colours on this interactive map, divided in 3042 areas, the number of counties in the United States. The user can enter the name of a county or simply place the cursor over a county to discover, in percentages, the three most followed NFL teams on Twitter.

The Denver Broncos and the Dallas Cowboys have the most fans in states without an NFL franchise
