Spain: RealFevr (Web3) partners with the Spanish Football Federation to publish Copa del Rey NFTs

RealFevr, a Portuguese Web3 startup offering a fantasy football application, has entered into a collaboration agreement with the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) for three years (2022-2024), announced the body on 29/11/2022.

As part of this agreement, RealFevr will publish NFTs to "enable the gamification of historic and iconic Copa del Rey moments, creating exclusive digital collectibles that showcase memorable video moments from one of the most watched football competitions. An initiative that makes the RFEF the first national football federation in the world to create official digital video collectibles of one of its competitions," said the Spanish Federation.

"The RFEF's commitment to this initiative is part of the 2020-2024 strategic plan of its current board of directors, which defends the modernisation and digitalisation of the organisation as one of its main challenges," according to Rubén Rivera, marketing director for the RFEF.

• The first Copa del Rey NFTs will be available on a purchase and resale platform developed by RealFevr from the end of 2022.
