LaLiga Santander: business general manager Ramón Alarcón named CEO of Real Betis Balompié

The board of Real Betis Balompié (LaLiga Santander) has appointed Spaniard Ramón Alarcón (47) as its new CEO, according to the club on 01/12/2022.

Business general manager since 2016 and member of the board of directors from November 2015 to December 2020, Ramón Alarcón "will lead the growth plan of Real Betis within strategic plan 2022-2026," said the club. Within this framework, the Sevillian club is continuing its restructuring and "will establish a direction committee lead by the sports director, Antonio Cordón, and the business director, Federico Martínez Feria."

Since Ramón Alarcón's arrival at the club, "Real Betis have multiplied their revenue in sales and ticketing, going from €6-17m and from €9-14m, respectively. During this time, Real Betis have reached 70,000 members, including more than 50,000 season ticket holders, with a long waiting list.
