Arsenal FC: a turnover of £369.1m (+12.6%) and net loss of £45.5m (-42.7%) in 2021-22

Arsenal FC (Premier League) has posted a turnover of £369.1m (€433.5m as of 31/05/2022) for the 2021-22 financial year (01/06/2021 to 31/05/2022), up 12.6% versus 2020-21 (£327.6m/€381.7m as of 31/05/2021), announced the club on 02/12/2022.

Arsenal FC's revenues are increasing for the first time after four consecutive seasons of decline. In particular, the club is benefiting from the return of spectators to the Emirates Stadium (60,260 capacity) due to the end of health restrictions linked to the Covid-19 pandemic, which has led to a considerable increase in matchday revenues in 2021-22 (from £3.8m/€4.4m in 2020-21 to £79.4m/€93.3m). Sponsorship and merchandising revenues also increased slightly to £141.7m (€166.4m) from £136.4m (€158.6m) in 2020-21.

By contrast, the club's TV rights revenue fell to £146m (€171.5m) from £184.4m (€214.4m) in 2020-21.
