esports/LFP: Uber Eats, title sponsor of the "eLigue 1 Uber Eats" from 2023

Uber Eats, a meal delivery application and subsidiary of the independent driver mobile app Uber, has extended its partnership with the Ligue de Football Professionnel to become the title sponsor of eLigue 1, the official esports competition of the body, from the 2023 season, announced the LFP on 02/12/2022. The competition will be known as the "eLigue 1 Uber Eats".

The eLigue 1, which is played on the FIFA football video game published by EA Sports, has not had a title sponsor since the 2020 edition.
• The French telecommunications group Orange held the naming rights for the competition for the 2016-2019 cycle.
• In 2022, the competition was structured to become "a 100% professional league bringing together the 10 Ligue 1 Uber Eats clubs most invested in esports, with their own esports structure and professional players under contract," according to the League on 17/02/2022.
