Bundesliga: partnership between Eintracht Frankfurt & NFL franchise Carolina Panthers

Eintracht Frankfurt (Bundesliga) and the NFL franchise Carolina Panthers (Charlotte, North Carolina, USA) have entered into a "non-exclusive partnership," announced both entities on 30/11/2022.

The agreement aims to improve the presence of both clubs in the partner's country and provides for an exchange of knowledge in various areas, as well as the organisation of Bundesliga broadcasts in Charlotte and NFL broadcasts in Frankfurt (GER). The Carolina Panthers are one of four NFL franchises to have been granted exclusive marketing rights by the North American league in the German market.

The announcement comes days after the first NFL game ever played in Germany, which pitted the Tampa Bay Buccaneers against the Seattle Seahawk (21-16) on 13/11/2022 at FC Bayern Munich's Allianz Arena. At least three more NFL games will be held in Germany between now and 2025 as part of an agreement signed with the DFL on 15/09/2022 that includes two games at Eintracht Frankfurt's Deutsche Bank Park (51,500 capacity).
