esports/LFP: launch of the 3^rd eLigue 1 Open, for which Uber Eats will be title sponsor in 2023

The Ligue de Football Professionnel has announced the third season of the eLigue 1 Open, its official esports competition for amateur players, with Uber Eats as title sponsor for the 2023 edition. This competition, played on FIFA 23 (EA Sports), will be known as the "eLigue 1 Open by Uber Eats".

The home delivery app and subsidiary of the independent mobile driver app Uber also acquired the naming rights to the LFP's professional esports competition, the "eLigue 1 Uber Eats", on 02/12/2022.

"This tournament, which is open to all, is marking its comeback by changing its name and logo colour from green to raspberry. A change in its design that allows it to stand out from the eLigue 1 Uber Eats, reserved for professional players. This competition is organised by the LFP for each Ligue 1 Uber Eats club and for their supporters who wish to represent their favourite club, win club prizes and enjoy special club experiences," explained the French League. Registration for the competition, for which the final will be held on 01/03/2023, is open from 06/12/2022.
