RC Lens: €72,000 raised during the first charity gala organised by the club's endowment fund

€72,000 was raised by Racing Coeur de Lens, RC Lens' endowment fund (Ligue 1 Uber Eats), during an auction organised at the club's first charity gala held at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis on Friday 02/12/2022.

21 lots, including shirts signed by current players of the Lens squad, former players such as Raphaël Varane (FRA) and personalities of the football world such as Olivier Giroud (FRA), were put up for sale, as well as items worn or signed by the footballer Lionel Messi (ARG), the judoka Teddy Riner (FRA), the former sprinter Usain Bolt (JAM) and the basketball player Nando de Colo (FRA, ambassador of the Racing Cœur de Lens).

"Half of the proceeds have already been donated to the town of Bihucourt (Pas-de-Calais, FRA), which was devastated by a tornado that left 48 homes uninhabitable on 23/10/2022. The sum will also be used to finance future projects set up by the endowment fund," announced RC Lens.
