"The French market is one of our most important markets in Europe. We are doing very well there. We recently shared studies on the weight of Puma on the feet of Ligue 1 Uber Eats players and we have record levels of market share in the football boots market. As a result, Puma France is one of the strongest subsidiaries within the brand," said Thomas Lanis, marketing director of Puma France, to News Tank Football on 29/11/2022.

In France, Puma is the supplier of three Ligue 1 Uber Eats clubs (Olympique de Marseille, RC Lens and Stade Rennais FC). The German brand is also present in basketball with three Betclic Elite clubs (Metropolitans 92, Le Mans Sarthe Basket, Cholet Basket) and Tango Bourges Basket (LFB).
