CSR: the LFP and its partner Oris join the UN's "Football for the Goals" initiative

The Ligue de Football Professionnel and its partner Oris (watchmaker, SUI) have joined "Football for the Goals" a "United Nations initiative that provides a platform for the global football community to engage with and advocate for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)," announced the LFP on 08/12/2022.

"This membership status will allow them to continue to develop sustainable practices as part of their respective and common strategies, but also to act on sustainable development goals," said the body. The Football for the Goals initiative was launched by the UN on 06/07/2022, and counts UEFA among its inaugural members. Other professional leagues involved in the programme include the Lega Serie A, Liga Portugal, the Pro League and Norges Fotballforbund (Norway).

Oris became the first "responsibility partner" of the LFP on 05/10/2022.
