LaLiga Santander: RCD Mallorca's stadium renamed "Estadi Mallorca Son Moix" for 2022-23

RCD Mallorca (LaLiga Santander) and the Mallorca Insular Council (ESP) are "updating" their agreement on the naming rights for the stadium in which the club plays, which will be known as the "Estadi Mallorca Son Moix" for the rest of the 2022-23 season, announced both parties on 02/12/2022.

The venue had been known as the "Visit Mallorca Estadi" since 10/06/2020. RCD Mallorca had in fact decided to use the Visit Mallorca brand at the Estadi Son Moix free of charge to "promote the island of Mallorca internationally and limit the effects of the Covid-19 crisis on local tourism." This agreement between the club, the Mallorca Insular Council and the City of Palma (ESP) was extended for the 2022-23 season on 10/08/2022.

According to Spanish media reports, the Spanish club will receive €1.5m (€1.8m incl. VAT) per year as part of this agreement: €750,000 from the Mallorca Insular Council, €500,000 from the Balearic Islands Government and €250,000 from the City of Palma.
