Germany: Saxoprint (printing) could acquire the naming rights to the stadium of Dynamo Dresden

Saxoprint (printing) could acquire the naming rights to the stadium of SG Dynamo Dresden (GER, 3.Bundesliga) from January 2015 to 2017, according to several German media outlets on 28/10/2014. The contract was negotiated by Sportfive Germany.

Saxoprint, based in Dresden (Saxony, Germany), also the shirt sponsor Tours FC (FRA, Ligue 2) in 2013-14, would replace the gas supplier Glücksgas. The energy company currently holds the namings rights the 30,200-seater stadium from 2010 to June 2014. The proposed Saxoprint contract is estimated at €250,000 per year. This amount could be reviewed if the club gets promoted to the 2.Bundesliga in 2016 or 2017.

  • The stadium is owned by the City of Dresden, but the club would receive the allocation for the naming contract.
