The American Josh Harris is in advanced negotiations with shareholders of Crystal Palace FC (Barclays Premier League) to buy the club, said several British media outlets on 27/10/2014. The agreement to purchase the London club could reach £70m (about €88.8m), according to the British newspaper The Guardian on 27/10/2013.

Josh Harris is the owner of New Jersey Devils NHL (National Hockey League) and the Philadelphia 76ers NBA (National Basketball Association) franchise. He could become the sixth American to own a Premier League club after the Glazer family (Manchester United FC), Ellis Short (Sunderland AFC), Stan Kroenke (Arsenal FC), John Henry (Liverpool FC) and Randy Lener (Aston Villa FC).
