Premier League: Liverpool to launch a new HD version of its channel, LFCTV, on pay-TV Sky

LFCTV, the TV channel of Liverpool FC (Barclays Premier League), will be launched in high definition (HD) on the satellite bouquet of the British pay-TV group BSkyB on Tuesday, 04/11/2014, announced the English club on 26/10/2014. The launch coincides with the Real Madrid CF - Liverpool FC fixture (Group B, Matchday 4 of the 2014-15 Champions League).

For £7 (€8.90) per month for Sky subscribers in the UK, or €9 per month in Ireland, LFCTV subscribers will have access to content round the clock, seven days a week, including replays of all Liverpool FC matches, all pre-season matches live (and exclusively on LFCTV), and some live youth teams and women's team matches. LFCTV subscribers will also have access to daily news bulletins, interviews and filmed content from Melwood, the Reds training centre, as well as documentaries and behind the scenes reports on the club.
