Rugby/Challenge Cup: Eleven Sports acquires broadcasting rights in Italy for 2022-23

Eleven Sports has acquired broadcasting rights in Italy for the Challenge Cup for the 2022-23 season, announced the pay-TV group on 09/12/2022.

Eleven Sports will broadcast all the matches of the Italian clubs in the group stage, as well as the best matches in the final stage. Eleven began coverage of the competition with the broadcast of Stade Français Paris (Top 14) - Benetton Rugby (Treviso, BKT United Rugby Championship) (24-14), on Friday 09/12/2022 (21:00 CET), and Zebre Rugby Club (Parma, BKT United Rugby Championship) - Rugby Club Toulonnais (Top 14) (21-24), on Saturday 10/12/2022 (21:00 CET).

Sky Italia also holds the broadcasting rights in Italy for the Heineken Champions Cup and the Challenge Cup for the 2022-23 season. The pay-TV operator will broadcast up to five European Rugby Cup matches each round, including three Champions Cup matches and the two matches involving Italian clubs in the Challenge Cup.
