Basketball: Dyn Media acquires media rights to the Champions League in Germany (2023-2026)

Dyn Media has acquired the exclusive media rights in the DACH region (Germany, Austria and German-speaking Switzerland) for the Basketball Champions League (BCL) over the 2023-2026 cycle, announced the German streaming platform and the BCL on 14/12/2022. 

"Starting from the 2023-24 season more than 170 games of the Basketball Champions League will run on the Dyn Platform," explained the two entities. The 2022-23 Basketball Champions League 2022-23 is currently broadcast via the BCL YouTube channel in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Dyn Media acquired the "main national and international media rights" for the easyCredit BBL (German professional basketball top division) for six years, starting with the 2023-24 season, on 12/05/2022. The OTT platform has also acquired the full German broadcasting rights to the Liqui Moly Handball Bundesliga (German handball 1st division), the 2.Bundesliga (2nd division) and the DHB-Pokal (German Men's Handball Cup) for six years, from the 2023-24 season.
