RCD Mallorca: a strategic partnership with Japanese club Shimizu S-Pulse until June 2024

RCD Mallorca (LaLiga Santander) and Japanese club Shimizu S-Pulse (relegated to the J2 League at the end of the 2021-22 season), located in Shizuoka (JPN), have signed a collaboration agreement until 30/06/2024, announced the two clubs on 10/12/2022.

"The agreement comes at the right time and with the desire to continue strengthening ties with Japan. This is an active collaboration with Shimizu S-Pulse in terms of training soccer, communication and commercial field. Both parties will work closely together to exchange views and experiences," said Alfonso Diaz, CEO of business at RCD Mallorca.

"Our club has furthered its expansion in Japan and wider Asia and builds on our sponsorship agreement with the Taica Corporation (technological materials, JPN) which also sponsors the team," said the Spanish club. The Japanese company appears on the Mallorcan club's shirts for the 2021-2023 cycle.
