Ligue 1: LOSC Lille invites people born in 1944 to next match to celebrate 70 years of the club

LOSC Lille (Ligue 1) will provide free tickets to people born in 1944, accompanied by their grandchildren, in the promotion "Tribune 70" for the club's home fixture against AS Saint-Étienne (Matchday 12 of Ligue 1) on 01/11/2014. About 400 people can benefit from this promotion, the club said to News Tank on 28/10/2014.

During the match against Saint-Etienne, LOSC Lille will officially celebrate its 70th anniversary. Several operations and promotions will be organised, along with the presence of many major players in the club's history.

LOSC Lille was born on 25/11/1944

  • The rival clubs Olympique Lille and SC Fives took the decision to merge on 23/09/1944.
  • Two months later, the two organisations formally endorsed the creation of LOSC Lille on 25/11/1944.
