Bundesliga: Hertha BSC and Directline (auto insurer) team up to offer 3 25-year season tickets

Hertha BSC Berlin (Bundesliga) is organising a lottery with the English automobile insurer Directline, a partner of the club, allowing supporters to win three season tickets to the club for a "quarter century" (25 years), announced the club on 29/10/2014.

One "quarter century" season ticket has already been awarded, leaving two tickets left to win. To participate in this lottery, participants must go to the Directline website and receive an insurance quote from the company (with no obligation to buy). The English insurer has been a sponsor Hertha BSC since 28/06/2013 for two seasons, until the end of 2014-15. The agreement is valued at €400,000 annually.

• Hertha Berlin has 18,000 season ticket holders for the 2014-15 season.
  • The number of season ticket holders decreased by 5% compared to 2013-14.
• The club has seen average attendance of 48,520 spectators after nine league games, a fill rate in the Olympiastadion (capacity 74,000 seats) of 66%.
• Hertha BSC is currently 13^th in 2014-15 with 11 points after 9 matchdays, 10 points behind FC Bayern München, the Bundesliga leader.
