"Beyond the simple moments of emotion which are very important, all this is also the way to bring the Nation around sport, which is a collective adventure, which makes the country more united, which participates in this moral strength, which is important for the education of our children so that they have confidence in themselves," said Emmanuel Macron, President of France, the day after the 2022 World Cup final (Argentina - France, 3-3, 4-2 on penalties), in an exclusive interview with the public radio station France Info, from the aircraft carrier Charles-de-Gaulle, somewhere in the Red Sea, on 19/12/2022.
