The drinks brand Chi Limited became a regional partner of Manchester United FC (Barclays Premier League) in Nigeria, announced the club on 28/10/2014.

The beverage market leader in Nigeria can use the image of the Red Devils to their advertising campaigns. The club logo will appear on the packaging of various products. Manchester United has over 1,364,000 fans on Facebook in the country. The club is also a partner of telecom group Globacom Nigeria. Chi Limited becomes the 11th regional partner of Manchester United.

  • Manchester United recorded a record turnover of £433.2m (€543.1m) during fiscal year 2014 (from 01/07/2013 to 30/06/2014).
    • Up 19.3% compared to 2013.
  • Sponsorships enabled the Red Devils to garner £135.8m (€170.2m) in revenues in 2014.
    • An increase of £44.9m (€56.3m), up 49.4% compared to 2013 (£90.9m, €114m).
