2022-23 LaLiga Santander: 30,352 season ticket holders/club; Barça, Real & Atlético lead the Top 5

The 20 LaLiga Santander clubs have an average of 30,352 season ticket holders for the 2022-23 season, a figure that is down very slightly (-0.9%) compared to 2019-20 (30,626 season ticket holders), the last season that began without disruptions due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This total ranks the Spanish league first among the European Top 5, ahead of the Premier League (27,750 on average per club).

With 85,000 season ticket holders, FC Barcelona is the Spanish club with the most. Barça also tops the European rankings, where they are ahead of two other LaLiga Santander clubs: Real Madrid CF (60,707) and Club Atlético de Madrid (57,500). Eight Spanish clubs have at least 36,000 season ticket holders and are thus among the Top 20 clubs from the European Top 5 leagues.

The important distinction for LaLiga Santander is that it is the only European Top 5 league in which season ticket holders are not automatically counted in the attendance figures for matches.
