Spain: Orange signs a distribution agreement with Telefonica for the 2022-23 Supercopa de España

The Spanish subsidiary of the French telecommunications group Orange has entered into a distribution agreement with Telefonica (telecoms, ESP) to distribute Movistar Supercopa, its channel dedicated to the broadcast of the three matches of the 2022-23 Supercopa de España, announced Orange on 20/12/2022. 

Orange customers who are also subscribers to the operator's football package will be able to watch all matches of the competition at no extra cost. The first semi-final of the Spanish Super Cup will see Real Madrid CF take on Valencia CF on Wednesday 11/01/2023, while the second semi-final will see Real Betis Balompié face FC Barcelona on Thursday 12/01/2023. The final will take place on Sunday 15/01/2023.

Orange has signed distribution agreements in Spain with Telefonica and the OTT platform DAZN for the 2022-23 season. These agreements allow Orange subscribers to watch all LaLiga Santander matches, as well as all matches of the three European Cups (Champions League, Europa League and Europa Conference League).
