LaLiga Santander: Mediapro Exhibitions commissioned to design FC Barcelona's temporary museum

Mediapro Exhibitions, a subsidiary of the Mediapro audiovisual group specialised in the creation and development of museographic projects, has been commissioned to design a temporary museum for FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander), announced the group on 29/12/2022.

"The temporary museum is scheduled to open its doors while the works of the Spotify Camp Nou are being carried out and until the new museum of the future stadium is inaugurated at the end of the 2024/25 season. In this new, provisional space, Mediapro Exhibitions will implement holograms and virtual and immersive reality installations, some of which will serve as a pilot test for the future museum," explained Mediapro.

The renovation of the Camp Nou (capacity increased to 105,000 and covered with a roof with 18,000m2 of solar panels, expected to be completed by the end of 2025) is the main focus of the Espai Barça project, a major modernisation of the club's infrastructure that should enable it to generate a total of €200m in additional revenue.
