West Ham United FC: a turnover of £252.7m (+31%) and net profit of £12.3m in 2021-22

West Ham United FC (Premier League) have posted a turnover (excluding capital gains on player transfers) of £252.7m (€296.8m as of 31/05/2022) for the 2022 financial year (from 01/06/2021 to 31/05/2022), up 31.1% compared to 2021 (£192.7m/€224.1m), announced the club on 29/12/2022.

This increase is largely due to the increase in matchday revenues, made possible by the end of the restrictions on fans entering British stadiums as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic during the 2021-22 season. The London club saw this revenue rise from less than €1m (£0.5m) to £41.3m (€48.5m) by the end of the 2022 financial year. A performance also helped by West Ham's run in the 2021-22 Europa League, which saw them eliminated in the semi-finals. Commercial revenue was also up sharply from £19.4m (€22.7m) in 2021 to £34.7m (€40.8m) in 2022.
