Serie A TIM: Auberge Resorts (hotels), back shirt sponsor of AS Roma from 2022-23

Auberge Resorts, a luxury hotel group owned by the American holding company Friedkin, has become a main partner and back of shirt sponsor of AS Roma (Serie A TIM) from the 2022-23 season, announced the club on 02/01/2023. Friedkin also owns Romulus and Remus Investments LLC, majority shareholder of the Italian club (96.13%).

This agreement covers AS Roma's men's, women's and youth teams. Auberge Resorts succeeds South Korean car manufacturer Hyundai, which was displayed on the back of the club's kit for the 2018-2022 cycle for €2.8m per season.

Friedkin Group acquired 86.6% of AS Roma's shares in August 2020. At the beginning of 2022, the American holding company bought a further 3% (for €8.5m) on the stock market before launching a public offer to buy the remaining shares on 13/06/2022 (at €0.43 per share) with the aim of reaching a total of 95%, the threshold allowing it to withdraw the club's listing on the Milan Stock Exchange. The latter transaction was completed on 14/09/2022.
