Italy/FIGC: presentation of a new visual & sound identity for the national teams

The Italian Football Federation (FIGC) has presented a new visual and sound identity for the country's national teams, with the unveiling of "a new badge and sound signature" on 02/01/2023.

The new badge, available in several colours, was designed by the Italian agency Independent Ideas (Publicis), which was previously responsible for redesigning the FIGC's institutional identity in October 2021. It will be applied to the national team shirts, equipped by the German brand adidas from 2023 onwards for an estimated annual fee of €23m. 

The sound identity, produced by the transalpine agency Inarea Identity Design, consists of a complete musical title and several variations, including a three-second format, which will be used on the FIGC's social networks and during its events.

• Although Italy didn't take part in the 2022 World Cup, they will participate in the Final Four of the Nations League with Croatia, Spain and the Netherlands, who will host the matches on 14, 15 and 18/06/2023.
