2022-23 Ligue 1 Uber Eats: attendance for Matchday 17 (23,204 spectators on average per game)

Matchday 17 of the 2022-23 Ligue 1 Uber Eats season drew an average of 23,204 spectators per game, on Sunday 01 and Monday 02/01/2023. The average stadium fill rate was 70.4%, the second lowest since the start of the season.

Matchday 17 also witnessed a partial boycott of several matches by some fans who wished to protest against the scheduling of six matches on 1 January and four others on a Monday.

RC Lens - Paris Saint-Germain (3-1), on 01/01/2023 (kick-off at 20:45 CET), was the match that posted the best attendance with 38,084 spectators at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis (38,223 capacity), for a fill rate of 99.5%. This represented the best attendance of the season for Lens, as well as the club's 16th consecutive sold-out home game. Two other matches drew more than 30,000 spectators.

The average attendance in Ligue 1 is 23,759 spectators per game after 17 matchdays, for an average fill rate of 78.8%.
