LaLiga Santander: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Twitter accounts of the 20 clubs (January 2023)

The 20 clubs in the 2022-23 LaLiga Santander season have just over 686 million fans on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Twitter, according to data compiled by News Tank Football on 02/01/2023. This total makes the Spanish first division the second most popular European Top 5 league on the four social networks combined, behind the Premier League (nearly 790 million followers), with an average of 34.3 million fans per club.

Real Madrid CF is the most popular Spanish club with more than 313 million fans, while FC Barcelona, 2^nd, with more than 288 million, are ahead of Club Atlético de Madrid, in third place with 39 million.

The Catalan club posted the best growth in absolute value during the month of December 2022, with just over 3 million additional followers in total, 54% of which were on TikTok.

Over the period, Getafe CF posted the best percentage growth among LaLiga Santander clubs on TikTok (+36.2%), RCD Mallorca experienced the best growth on Instagram (+8.4%) and Twitter (+2%), while Club Atletico Osasuna achieved the best growth on Facebook (+6.5%).
