Police search at Angers SCO: "No charges or legal action against any club member or executive"

"The management of Angers SCO (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) has cooperated fully with the police and no charges or legal action have been brought against any member or executive of the club," announced the club on 04/01/2023, the day after the search that took place at its headquarters in the Baumette district of Angers (Maine-et-Loire, FRA).

"As announced by several media, a police search took place on Tuesday 03/01/2023 at La Baumette. This police operation, carried out at the request of the public prosecutor's office in Bobigny (Seine-Saint-Denis), is part of a large-scale preliminary investigation involving several football clubs. The purpose of the investigation is to verify information in the possession of the judicial authorities which implicates several dozen people outside of SCO," said the club owned and chaired by Saïd Chabane.
