Bundesliga: SC Freiburg achieve €70m turnover and €12.8m net profit in 2013-14

SC Freiburg (Bundesliga) achieved a record turnover of €70m in 2013-14, an increase of 40% compared to 2012-13 (€50m), announced Fritz Keller, president of the club, at the annual general meeting of the club's members on 27/10/2014.

"This is certainly the result of the additional revenue earned through the Europa League," stated SC Freiburg, eliminated in the 2013-14 Europe League group stage. The club recorded a net profit of €12.8m on 30/06/2014, of which €5m will be allocated to the proposed new stadium, scheduled for summer 2019.
