FIFA: Forward football development programme funds up 30% over the 2023-2026 cycle

"FIFA Forward 3.0 will be launched in January 2023, providing a more comprehensive funding and support of football development projects across the world than ever before. The four-year cycle to the end of 2026 represents an increase in football development investment of almost 30%," announced the International Federation on 31/12/2022.

The sums paid to the 211 member associations and six confederations under FIFA Forward 3.0 will be distributed as follows over the 2023-2026 cycle:

⚽️ "Up to $5m (€4.7m as of 04/01/2023) for each member association to cover its operational costs in relation to football activities.
⚽️ $3m (€2.8m) for each member association to execute well-planned, specific football projects that contribute to the achievement of long-term football development objectives.
⚽️ For member associations that are identified as needing the most assistance, up to $1.2m ($1.1m) each to cover the costs of travel and accommodation for their national teams as well as football equipment.
