• A working group has reportedly been set up to propose a joint bid by Switzerland, France and Italy to host the 2030 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, according to the Swiss daily Le Temps.
• The Luxembourg investment fund Merlyn Advisors, owner of LOSC Lille (Ligue 1 Uber Eats), has withdrawn its €50m bid for UC Sampdoria (Serie A TIM).
• The Lega Serie A has launched a tender for the creation of the Italian league's official radio station for the 2022-2025 cycle.
• Turkish Airlines has activated its partnership with UEFA (global sponsor, €56.8m per year) and has been flying a plane in the colours of the Champions League since 01/01/2023.
• The pay-TV group ESPN has extended its rights to broadcast the Copa del Rey and the Supercopa de España in full and exclusively, in Brazil.
• Doo Group, a Singapore-based trading platform, becomes a global partner (2^nd level) of Manchester United FC (Premier League) from 2022-23, as part of a "multi-year agreement" signed on 03/01/2023.
