CAN 2015: CAF maintains the tournament in January 2015, expected response of Morocco by 08/11/2014

"The Executive Committee of CAF confirms its commitment to keep the competition on the dates indicated (17/01/2015 to 08/02/2015), while asking the Royal Moroccan Football Federation to clarify the final position of Morocco not later than 08/11/2014," stated the African confederation on 03/11/2014.

Morocco has requested a postponement of the competition "due to the Ebola epidemic," stated CAF on 11/10/2014

"This time given also applies to all other CAF national associations wishing to organise the competition on the dates agreed as long as the hosting requirements are met. A meeting of the Executive Committee will be held 11/11/2014 in Cairo (EGY) to take the necessary decisions," added the African football body.
