NFL games during the 2022-23 regular season drew an average 16.7 million viewers in the United States, according to data from the Nielsen Institute.

Although this figure is down 3% compared to 2021-22, it is nonetheless the second best average audience since the 2015-16 season:
• 2021-22: 17.1 million viewers
• 2020-21: 15.4 million viewers
