Paris Saint-Germain: Victoriano Melero & Marc Armstrong promoted after Jean-Claude Blanc's departure

"Victoriano Melero, the club's general secretary, and Marc Armstrong, chief revenue officer, have new elevated and expanded responsibilities, taking over the duties previously performed by the club's deputy CEO (Jean-Claude Blanc). Victoriano Melero will oversee all of the club's support, financial and operations divisions, while Marc Armstrong will direct the Parisians' strategy in all revenue-generating areas," announced Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) on 12/01/2023.

This internal reorganisation follows the departure of Jean-Claude Blanc, the club's deputy CEO since October 2011, who will officially join the Ineos group as CEO of the sports branch in February 2023, as announced at the end of December 2022.

Three other appointments have been announced by Paris Saint-Germain:
• Fabien Allègre, chief brand officer, has been named deputy director of the Paris Saint-Germain Foundation at the same time.
• Michelle Gilbert, former director of communications for France and Southern Europe at Meta (Facebook), has been appointed chief corporate communications officer.
