• Struggling financially, used car sales platform Cazoo will not extend their main shirt sponsorship deal with Aston Villa FC (Premier League) beyond 2022-23. The online betting operator BK8 could succeed Cazoo for the 2023-24 season.
• The Olympique Lyonnais - RC Strasbourg Alsace game (Matchday 19 of the 2022-23 Ligue 1 Uber Eats) will be broadcast free of charge on Prime Video for all Prime subscribers, without a Pass Ligue 1 subscription necessary, on Saturday 14/01/2023 (kick-off at 21:00 CET).
• Qatar Sports Investments, owner of Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Uber Eats), is reportedly interested in acquiring a stake in Tottenham Hotspur FC (Premier League), according to English press reports. Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, chairman of QSI and Paris Saint-Germain, has reportedly met with Daniel Levy, chairman of the English club, to discuss the matter.
