Italy/FIGC: adidas unveils its first shirts designed for the Italian national teams

adidas has unveiled its first shirts as official equipment supplier of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC), on 17/01/2023. The two shirts (home and away), common to the men's and women's teams, will also be worn by Italy's youth, futsal, beach soccer and esports teams in 2023.

The shirts are available in adidas and FIGC shops (at a price of €140 for the authentic version/€90 for the replica version). Their release is accompanied by a campaign entitled "La Ricerca" ("the search") featuring a treasure hunt featuring "several national team champions from the past and the present (Gianluigi Donnarumma, Martina Rosucci and Alessandro Del Piero)," explained the equipment manufacturer.

The German succeeded Puma as equipment supplier of the FIGC teams on 01/01/2023, for an estimated amount of €23m per year, as part of an agreement signed on 09/03/2022. Puma had equipped the Italian national teams since 2003 (€19m per year over the 2016-2022 cycle).
