esports: Team Vitality & LOSC Lille launch a joint team to take part in the 2023 eLigue 1 Uber Eats

LOSC Lille (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) has teamed up with Team Vitality, a French esports organisation, to take part in the 2023 eLigue 1 Uber Eats, an esports competition organised by the LFP and played on the football video game FIFA 23 (EA Sports), announced the club on 17/01/2023. LOSC will be one of the 13 teams competing in the seventh edition of the competition, which will run from 17/01 to 31/05/2023.

The two partners will also participate "in the other EA FIFA competitions during the season on the national and international scene," said the French club. These include the qualifying stages of the eWorld Cup (FIFA world championship), during which the team will wear a shirt that mixes both team's colours that has been specially created for the collaboration. These shirts will be supplied by New Balance, the club's official equipment supplier since the 2016-17 season, and will feature the logo of the Luxembourg blockchain platform Tezos, Team Vitality's main shirt sponsor since 2022.
