Parc des Princes: "We want to renew contact with Paris Saint-Germain" (E. Grégoire, Ville de Paris)

"We want to renew contact with Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) regarding the renovation and expansion of the Parc des Princes," declared Emmanuel Grégoire, First Deputy Mayor of Paris, in charge of urban planning, architecture, Greater Paris, the transformation of public policies and relations with the arrondissements, on 17/01/2023.

Grégoire spoke alongside Pierre Rabadan, Deputy Mayor in charge of sport, the Olympic and Paralympic Games and the Seine, 48 hours after the publication in Le Parisien of the words of Anne Hidalgo, Mayor of Paris, on the future of the Parisian stadium which the city owns: "Very clearly, the Parc des Princes is not for sale. And it will not be sold. This is a firm and definitive position. It is an exceptional part of Parisian heritage. But of course we have to support Paris Saint-Germain in its desire and need to renovate, increase capacity (currently 47,929), and modernise the Parc."
