Doha Goals 2014: ethics and the fight against racism and sponsorship program for the second day

The second day of the 2014 Doha Goals forum, held at the Aspire Dome in Doha (Qatar) from 03 to 05/11/2014, began with a lecture on the economic and social benefits that mass sports events can provide, such as marathons, to local communities and their people.

This was followed by two other conferences, one on the role of ethics in sport in the time of the "sports business," and the other about support for the international initiative against racism "Global Watch" -- with items such as the capacity of athletes, federations, sponsors and media to contribute to the eradication of racism in sport.

The day 04/11/2014 ends with a discussion on best practices involving sponsorship and social initiatives, and another on the impact of social networks, including their use and practice the sport today and tomorrow -- more particularly among young people. A formal dinner caps the evening.
