The BBC has acquired the free-to-air rights to nine National Basketball Association games in the UK for the remainder of the 2022-23 season, announced the British broadcasting group on 18/01/2023.

The rights include the "NBA Paris Game Presented by Nike" between the Chicago Bulls and the Detroit Pistons at the Accor Arena (Paris, FRA) on 19/01/2023, as well as four regular season games, two playoff games, one Conference Finals game and one NBA Finals game.

The pay-TV operator Sky has extended its rights to broadcast the NBA in the UK and Ireland for the 2022-23 season on 28/09/2022. Sky will broadcast "135 regular seasons games, All-Star Weekend, the best matchups from Round One and Round Two of the playoffs and every moment of the Conference Finals and NBA Finals." The operator already held the rights to broadcast the NBA in these territories during the 2018-2022 cycle.
