Juventus FC/fictitious capital gains: 11 club executives sanctioned and a 15-point deduction

• A 24-month ban for Andrea Agnelli, former president (until 18/01/2023) of Juventus FC (Serie A TIM);
• 24 months for former CEO Maurizio Arrivabene;
• 8 months for former vice-president Pavel Nedved;
• 8 to 30 months for eight other current and former club executives;
• a 15-point deduction in the 2022-23 Serie A TIM season.

These are the sanctions imposed on the Turin club by the FIGC Court of Appeal, led by Mario Luigi Torsello, in the appeal of the trial on transfer capital gains considered fictitious and irregular, initially opened before the National Federal Court of the Italian Football Federation on 20/01/2023. All the defendants were acquitted in the first instance in April 2022, and then on appeal a month later. A new hearing before the Court of Appeal took place following an appeal by Federal Prosecutor Giuseppe Chiné against the previous decisions.

"The Court upheld the acquittal for the other eight clubs involved (UC Sampdoria, Pro Vercelli, Genoa CFC, Parma, Pisa, Empoli FC, Novara and Pescara) and their respective directors and executives," said the FIGC.
