Premier League: Everton records turnover of £120.5m (€153.3m) in 2013-14, net debt down 38%

Everton FC (Barclays Premier League) announced a turnover (excluding player trading) of £120.5m (€153.3m) during the 2014 fiscal year (from 01/06/2013 to 31/05/2014, a 39% increase compared to 2013 (£86.4m, €110m), the club announced on 31/10/2014.

The Liverpool-based club realised an operating profit, before activities of transfers, of £23.7m (€30.2m), compared to £0.7m (€0.82m in 2013. After integration of the amortizations on players' contracts (£18.6m, €23.7m) and capital gains on player transfers (£28.2m, €36m), the profit before tax of Everton amounts to £33.4m (€42.6m ), or 5.75 times more than in 2013 (£5.8m, €6.8m). The net profit of the club amounts to £28.2m (€36m), compared to £1.6m, (€1.9m) in 2013.

  • Excluding profits from player trading, the club announced an operating profit of £23m (€29.2m) in 2013-14, compared to £.7m (€.9m) in 2012-13.
