Women's World Cup 2023: adidas unveils "Oceaunz", the official ball for the competition

To mark International Women's Sports Day, adidas and FIFA have presented "Oceaunz", the official ball for the Women's World Cup 2023, on 24/01/2023. The 9^th edition of the competition will take place from 20/07 to 20/08/2023 in Australia and New Zealand.

• To celebrate the launch, the German equipment manufacturer unveiled the ball by delivering a scaled-up version by helicopter near Bondi Beach, a beach in Sydney (AUS), the city that will host the final of the competition (at Stadium Australia, 83,500 seats) on 20/08/2023. 
• The "Oceaunz" ball will be available for €60 in selected adidas stores and on the brand's online shop from 25/01/2023.

"The ninth successive football produced by adidas for the FIFA Women's World Cup, Oceaunz's design is inspired by the unique natural landscapes of the two host nations, with visuals nodding to the vast mountains of Aotearoa New Zealand and Australia's connection with the Indian Ocean.
